About Us
Fix Up House is a Handyman and Contracting company run by Anup Saund as the owner and operator within the business.
Anup Saund is the owner-operator and the primary contact from the first walkthrough through project closeout. Fix Up House works on interior and exterior projects for homeowners, strata councils and commercial property managers.
Current proof of liability insurance and WorkSafeBC coverage is available for clients to review before work is scheduled. Where regulated plumbing or electrical work is required, we coordinate the appropriate licensed trade and identify that scope in the written estimate.
We produce care reports for our clients to show what we have done and why. We find this useful for realtors when they are selling client homes and for strata councils when they would like more details on what was done and why.
This documentation is part of our normal process: it gives owners and councils a clear record of the agreed scope and the completed work.

Accountability before work begins
A proposal should make it clear who is doing the work, what is included and what requires another licensed trade. We provide a written scope and identify material, access, scheduling and permit assumptions before a project is booked.
Clients who need coverage documentation for a strata file or vendor review can request the current documents during quoting. Coverage status and project requirements are confirmed for the specific job rather than represented by an undated badge on the website.

Scope of Work
We give detailed estimates which can be refined before we do the work. We take before and after photographs — because we know it's important to be able to look back at work completed in the future.
Insured and Highly Reviewed
We carry insurance and fortunately for us, we have never had a claim. We work very carefully to handle material, clean up and organize ourselves in the most efficient way possible to get a good clean finish on what we do. We can provide references.
